Refund Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and explains when Stay Green purchases can and cannot be refunded, and how to cancel. Please read it before you buy. Except where this policy says otherwise, or where a mandatory law that applies to you requires otherwise, all payments are final and non-refundable.
Try before you buy
Stay Green comes with a 7-day free trial: full features, no card and no account required. The trial is the intended way to evaluate the app at no cost and no risk before you pay. By choosing to subscribe after the trial, you are paying for a service you have already been able to try in full.
All sales are final
Because of the free trial, purchases are non-refundable once you subscribe, except for the specific cases listed under "When we will refund you" below, or where a mandatory consumer law that applies to you requires a refund.
Immediate access and your consent
Stay Green is digital content delivered immediately. By purchasing, you expressly request and consent to immediate provision of the software and your license, and you acknowledge that performance of the contract begins at the time of purchase and activation.
Withdrawal right (EU, EEA, and UK consumers)
Consumers in these regions normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. Because Stay Green is digital content and a digital service that we begin supplying immediately with your prior express consent, and because you acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once supply begins, that withdrawal right does not apply once your purchase has been activated. This is the trade-off for immediate access, and it is why we provide a free trial so you can evaluate the app first.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time using the Creem link in your purchase or renewal email (or the customer portal it links to). Cancelling stops future charges, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not, by itself, refund the current period: we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a billing period you have already paid for.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. A renewal charge is non-refundable once it has been taken, so it is your responsibility to cancel before your renewal date if you do not want to be charged for the next period. Creem sends billing emails and shows your renewal date to help you keep track.
When we will refund you
We are not trying to keep money for something that went wrong. We will issue a refund where:
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase, or charged in obvious error;
- a charge was not authorized by you, or resulted from fraud;
- the app is materially defective or cannot be delivered to you and we are unable to fix it within a reasonable time; or
- a mandatory law that applies to you requires a refund.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you, including remedies for digital content or services that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Where such law gives you a stronger right than this policy, that law applies.
Goodwill
We may, entirely at our discretion and without setting any precedent or obligation, choose to grant a refund or account credit in an individual case. Doing so once does not change this policy or entitle anyone else to the same outcome.
Talk to us before a chargeback
If you have a billing problem or want to request a refund, please contact us and/or Creem first (see "Contact" below) and we will help. Starting a card chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us may result in your license being revoked, and we reserve the right to contest disputes we believe are not legitimate.
What a refund means for your license
If a refund or chargeback is granted, the related license is revoked and Stay Green returns to its locked or trial state. Continuing to use the app after a refund is use without a valid license.
How refunds are processed
Purchases are sold and processed by Creem, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Any taxes are handled by Creem. Where a refund is granted, it is processed by Creem to your original payment method; the time it takes to appear depends on Creem and your bank or card issuer. Creem's own terms and refund policy also apply to your purchase, and Creem may approve or decline a refund at its own discretion independently of this policy.
Contact
For cancellations and billing, use the Creem link in your receipt email. For refund questions, disputes, or anything else, contact us at support@getstaygreen.com or via GitHub, and we will help.
